Burn down this world if it will not work, making space for something new and green to grow, shoots of life burst through the snow.
Beneath the flesh, we are one consciousness, I can't sleep, with crushing dread, weighing heavy like a black sludge suffocating a thousand beings.
I can't sleep, with crushing dread, weighing heavy.
--------------------
I wake up feeling the duality of love and pain, desperate to be isolated and sinking slowly.
Prying every cage open, and converting every bomb into relics of the past.
Silent, falling, every color of pain, burning our hearts.
For each moment spent wishing for death, there can be an experience of joy and growth. Leaves blowing in the wind, laughing loudly with full plates, connections over compliance.
Where did we go? What have we always been? Whatever we mean to be, change we may.
